Red Boy, whose real name is Niu Shengying, is a character in the classic novel "Journey to the West."
The son of Bull Demon King and Princess Iron Fan, he is known as the Holy Infant King.
Red Boy cultivated for three hundred years in Flaming Mountain, cultivating the Samadhi True Fire.
Facing Sun Wukong, Red Boy repeatedly battled with him in battles of wits and courage, always prevailing. His Samadhi True Fire once nearly killed Sun Wukong.
Finally, he sought the help of Guanyin Bodhisattva to subdue him and make him his disciple.
