Shinobu's favorite Food, Ginger Tsukudani! 🦋

Tsukudani is commonly small seafood, meat, vegetables or seaweed cooked in Soy Sauce, Mirin and Sugar. This is a great side dish for rice, tofu, fish or other dishes. It's the favorite food of Shinobu Kocho 🦋🦋
Recipe:
-200g Ginger
-2 tbsp Sake
-2 tbsp sweet Sake
-2 tbsp Mirin
-4 tbsp Soy Sauce
-2 tbsp brown Sugar
-2 tbsp Bonito Flakes
-1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1. Peel the skin of the Ginger and slice it into thin strips.
2. Place the Ginger in a Saucepan, add Water to cover the Ginger and cook for 5 Minutes. Drain and discard the water, this step will reduce the unpleasant taste of Ginger.
2. In a Pan add Sake, Mirin, Soy Sauce, brown Sugar and boil on medium heat for 2 Minutes. Reduce the heat until almost of the liquid is evaporated, then add the Bonito Flakes.
3. Add a few toasted sesame seeds and you're done.
