It's no secret how secretive North Korea is and how much it's shut itself off from the outside world. I was one of the first foreigners back in the country after 5 years and was lucky enough to explore the city of Pyongyang and the surrounding countryside.
North Korea is filled with propaganda, it surrounds the local people on a daily basis and as a tourist, it's impossible to escape it.
The most difficult task in the DPRK is trying to work out, what is real and what is not?
