After returning from a month-long Europe tour, today felt strangely funny — being back in our own home city felt almost like arriving in a foreign place. Everything looked familiar, yet new at the same time.
The day began with a visit to the doctor for my mother’s swollen feet, which did worry us for a while. But don’t worry — by noon, the swelling had completely gone, and everything was fine.
From there, the day turned into a relaxed city stroll. We moved around the city, finishing some leftover work, visiting different places, and at the same time soaking in the everyday vibes that make this city special. It was one of those simple days that remind you how comforting home can feel after a long journey.
