Ikebukuro's the perfect place for a rainy day in Tokyo. There are lots of indoor things to do in Sunshine City mall, which is HUGE! We were there for the Gachapon Challenge (in a separate video), but couldn't resist popping into the arcades to check out the UFO catchers, and a quick look in Book Off. It's a secondhand shop that has books, CDs, DVDs and games, but this branch also had plushies, opened gashapon, anime figures and collectibles. Then we had dinner at Katsumidori Sushi, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Seibu department store. There was a wait to get in, but there were good veggie options and a great choice of sushi, for a very reasonable price.
