2025 Saint Francis Tulsa Tough - McElroy Riverparks Criterium

On Sunday, riders take on the notorious Cry Baby Hill as part of the McElroy River Parks Criterium. The criterium course loops through the Tulsa River Parks and surrounding residential area, offering unique views and photo opportunities. Cry Baby Hill is famously known for its false flat, punchy gradient, and wild fans. In 2024, Criterium Nation, a podcast that covers criterium racing across the United States, named Cry Baby Hill as one of its Seven Monuments of Crit Racing. With high-speed descents and leg-busting climbs, the McElroy River Parks Criterium is an action-packed experience for riders and fans alike. It doesn’t get rowdier than this, folks.

Tulsa-based McElroy Manufacturing is recognized world wide as the most reliable, efficient, rugged and technically advanced pipe fusion company in the world.

The mission of the Tulsa River Parks Authority is to enhance community life through stewardship of parks and public spaces along the Arkansas River. The River Parks Authority maintains over 26 miles of asphalt trails. In fact, Sunday’s criterium course runs alongside the River Parks Trail System.

All River Parks events are staged from Riverside Drive and Houston Avenue. The winners of Sunday’s criterium will prove themselves to be Tulsa Tough! The race takes place in the beautiful River Parks and the Riverview Neighborhood. Area residents will be out in force to cheer racers as they face the challenges of the course and their competition.
