Part 2 analyzes a functioning gauge. We also discuss the calibration procedure that I recommend using if the gauge does not sit exactly on "C" when the engine is cold. Once the cold calibration is set (meaning an open circuit returns the needle to "C" always), then the hot calibration usually falls in line. But I also show how to double check calibration with a resistor or potentiometer.
