For the past 20 years, PACE has operated an SBA Women’s Business Center (WBC). PACE WBC focuses on serving socially and economically disadvantaged women entrepreneurs and small business owners and provides numerous technical assistance services including specialized government contracting counseling and training in partnership with government agencies such as the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and the SBA. PACE WBC was awarded the Women’s Business Center Award of Excellence by Los Angeles SBA’s District Office in 2013 and its Director, Swann Do, was named “Women’s Business Champion of the Year” by the Los Angeles SBA’s District Office in 2017.
Since our founding in 1975, PACE has been recognized as a leader in addressing poverty and economic inequity within the low-income, ethnic and immigrant communities of LA County.

The PACE Business Development Center (BDC) provides no-cost advising services and low-cost educational programs to entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their small business. PACE BDC business advisors work with entrepreneurs in one-to-one sessions in the areas of management, marketing, sales, finance, accounting, and other disciplines required for small business growth, expansion, and innovation.
