An evening to remember!
Centre of Excellence for Road Safety, IIT Madras (CoERS) and Greater Chennai Traffic Police (GCTP) put up a dynamic performance for mall-goers at Phoenix MarketCity, Velachery on 20 Janaury 2024, that saw the coming together of art, education and entertainment to a specially curated soundtrack to create awareness about road safety.
The performance highlighted the mandatory usage of helmet and seatbelts, maintaining lane discipline, following speed limits and giving priority to pedestrians. It also touched upon the harm in using phones while driving, drinking and driving, and rash driving through dance, music and visual signage.
