Hepburn Shire Recycling Wheelie Waste Unit 123

Here we have something a little different, my first video from a rural contract! I arrived in the shire just before 9 in the morning, I almost instantly found the Garbage truck after following the empty trail of bins, but unfortunately the driver wasn't keen on me filming. Although, he was more than happy to tell me that the recycle truck wouldn't be around till after lunch. So I made the decision to head South West to Ballarat and luckily I found some trucks and got them on film!

After finishing up in Ballarat and having lunch I decided I better make my way back to Hepburn, once entering the zone I saw streets of empty recycle bins but then in the blink of an eye they were full. Sure enough as we were coming out of a side street I could hear a truck roaring up a hill and then it appeared, I got out and asked the driver and he was happy to let me film, but after picking up 7 or so bins he turned onto the highway and I lost him. I looked around for a good half hour but there was no sight of him but still plenty of streets with full recycle bins so I figured he went to the tip and he had finished for the day, leaving the full recycle bins to be picked up the next day.

So Wheelie Waste in Hepburn have a fleet of just 3 trucks, a 2010 acco which is the spare, this 07 acco for recycle and a new euro 5 GenV for garbage. This is also the first appearance I believe from this council on youtube.

I will definitely head back to Hepburn in the future to get a longer video of this truck and hopefully the garbage as well. Keep a look out for my Ballarat footage which should be up soon! Thanks to the friendly driver for letting me film and I hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as I did!
