The Kungahara project implemented by Kilimo Trust in Rwanda is boosting production and consumption of healthy and nutritious foods in Rwanda through promoting new technologies like how to use regenerative agricultural practices and others like greenhouses and irrigation among farmers in Musanze and Nyabihu Districts.
This is being done through training and sensitization, establishment of demonstration plots, linkages to agrodealers, and financial institutions. As a result, farmers have adopted regenerative agricultural practices like minimum tillage, using irrigation systems like drip and growing in greenhouses for sustainable production.
