Located just outside Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, the Damajagua Waterfalls are a popular excursion site known for the series of natural rock slides and jumps that take visitors through freshwater pools carved into the surrounding hillside. We visited the waterfalls as part of a shore excursion booked through our cruise line during a visit aboard the MSC Seascape in April 2025. In this video, we’ll share our visit to the Damajagua Waterfalls, where we made the long, strenuous hike to the top before sliding and jumping our way back down through the natural water features.
