You either got it or you don't. You can choose to be inspired and motivated by looking at someone else, or you can choose to be self-defeating and dismissive of your own potential. When I see someone achieve something great, it pushes me to be better because I think to myself: "If they can, why can't I?" Seeing someone win makes me excited, fills me with life, and pushes me to win just like they do, especially if it's something that I know I can do. And I firmly believe it is so helpful to go through life with that lens. I can't force you to see through that lens though. But you can if you genuinely want to.
