横浜市の花として制定されているバラ。5月上旬と10月中旬、年2回見頃を迎えます。
山下公園の「未来のバラ園」には約160品種、1,900株のバラが植えられています。
2025年5月3日から6月15日には、街歩きをしながらバラを楽しむ「横浜ローズウィーク」があり、開港165周年の横浜を彩ります。
「横浜ローズウィーク」の期間中は、市内各所のバラ園や、バラがテーマのイベントなど、
横浜の歴史を感じる街並みや港の風景とともに『バラの街歩き』を楽しむことができます。
The rose is designated as the flower of Yokohama. It is best viewed twice a year, in early May and mid-October.
Yamashita Park's "Future Rose Garden" has 1,900 roses of about 160 varieties planted.
From May 3rd to June 15th, 2025, Yokohama Rose Week will be held, where you can enjoy roses while walking around the city, adding color to Yokohama's 165th anniversary since the port was opened.
During Yokohama Rose Week, you can enjoy a "rose-filled walk" along with the cityscape and port scenery that give you a sense of Yokohama's history, including rose gardens around the city and rose-themed events.
