How to Hand Pick and Hand Card Alpaca Fiber Wool for Spinning

This is how to pick and hand card our washed alpaca fiber. This is part three, the first is a music video on the shearing of our two alpacas and the second is washing the fiber. I will show how to hand spin and weave this fiber.

We take advantage of renewable energy by using solar electricity. We also plant and grow heirloom vegetables and raise heritage livestock.

Our ultimate goal is self-sufficiency from our perma-home in which we need little or no help from outside employment.
