(33:31): A closer look at the mangled crossing gate. No idea what happened, whether a car hit it or what, but I called it in to CSX so they could get a signal maintainer out here to look.

(59:56): When pulling into Homestead, I had already missed a slow moving NS C series local. Instead of cutting my loss, I headed west on Route 837/Carson Street to see if I could intercept it. Unfortunately when I caught up to it, it was when the elevation was at the angle where the locomotives are hidden. On the way back, we also see a few AVR locomotives in the distance at Glenwood Yard in Hazlewood on the opposite side of the Monongahela River.

(1:08:44): A quick view from the Homestead-Gray Bridge of the old PRR depot in Homestead.

(1:09:46): CSX L??? heads East with the Spirit of Magnolia leading again (crappy going away shot though, but the overhead view was nice).

(1:12:01): A EB CSX manifest slowly crosses Amity Street (and look, they fixed the crossing gate!), but then stops and backs up. The engineer even opened the window to wave to me as he was reversing.

(1:17:59): A NS power move races west, as the CSX manifest pulls forward once again, then stops.

(1:26:23): Take three! The CSX manifest finally starts again along the Pittsburgh Sub, and finally clears the crossing. That's all for that day. I then went to meet my family at Aunt Debbie's house.
