Do you like cold noodle dishes??
I'll show how to make chilled tantanmen, perfect for summer.
Tantanmen is usually made with Chinese noodles, but this recipe uses spaghetti.
When cooking spaghetti, adding a certain ingredient makes it a great substitute for Chinese noodles.
If you're out of Chinese noodles and don't feel like going to the store, try this trick.
Let's boil the spaghetti without breaking it.

1 tbsp(15g, 0.53oz) tianmianjiang (sweet bean paste)
1 tbsp(15g, 0.53oz) sake
1/2 tsp(3g, 0.11oz) soy sauce
[Sauce]
8 tbsp(144g, 5.08oz) sesame paste
2 tbsp(36g, 1.27oz) soy sauce
2 tbsp(30g, 1.06oz) vinegar
4 tbsp(48g, 1.69oz) sesame oil
4 tsp(16g, 0.56oz) sugar
1 tsp(5g, 0.18oz) chicken stock powder
La-Yu (chili oil)
200g(7.05oz) spaghetti
2L water
2 tsp(12g, 0.42oz) salt
2 tbsp(24g, 0.85oz) baking soda
