Above the Floods (Friant, California)

Friant, California is a town in California's central valley on the edge of Fresno County. Friant is a place formed because of the Friant Dam, a large structure that helps supply water to the farms all over the central valley.

The ghost town of Millerton is located at the bottom of Millerton Lake, the giant reservoir that is responsible for Friant's creation. Floods destroyed Millerton over a century ago which was the former county seat of Fresno County.
