During his career as a professional landscape photographer Tom Mackie has seen first hand, how the landscape photography sector has changed dramatically over the years.

In this first video of a three part series, Tom discusses the past, present and future of landscape photography and shows the equipment he used to use for all his landscape photography work before switching to digital.

This feature series was all recorded in one location, and in future episodes, we will be providing side by side comparisons of the same composition taken with a 4x5 large format camera, DSLR and smartphone - the results are not quite as we first thought they would be - stay tuned!
