The most basic review of Ruffwear Swamp Cooler Dog Cooling Vest
Update: After using the cooling vest for quite a bit and seeing more results, I definitely recommend the product. It works well and keeps your dog cool even in very hot weather. All you have to do is add more water whenever it starts to get a little dry - around every hour or so.
Background: Ilikai does not do well in the heat. Her black coat makes it even worst. Anything over 65F weather makes her really hot. She would start to pant 5 seconds into our hike, and by the end she would be panting heavily and be really hot. She loves going on hikes and I want to be able to go on hikes/backpack with her during the summer. So I decided that I needed to look into a solution.
