USA Trains GE 44 Tonner Train with Body Mount Kadee Centersets - By Ted Doskaris
A 1/29 "G" scale USAT GE 44 Tonner is operated on the layout pulling 5 cars - all equipped with body mounted Kadee centerset "G" AAR E type couplers. The 44 Tonner (originally having factory truck mount low to the railhead couplers) has been equipped with body mounted 3-D printed "CamPac" coupler boxes fitted with Kadee centerset couplers from a 907 kit. With CamPac parts installed, the loco can operate on 8 foot, or greater, diameter curve track.
