Bedford Township MI, 2001-SRN Siren Test 9/25/24

Normally its either foggy or cloudy with rain but for once the weather was decent in Monroe County so I took it as a sign and headed out there. I decided on the 2001 in Bedford at the intersection of Secor Rd and Samaria Rd in north western Bedford Township. Many of the 2001 in Bedford township are roadside,. Luckily Secor Rd was closed at the time of filming this so it made setting up roadside easier. I think its also good to note that after this winds down I should have been able to hear some voice sirens as there are 3 surrounding this sirens. No voice sirens were heard. In the last few years many of the voice sirens in Monroe county have becoming unreliable. So if I do head out to Monroe county I normally stick to a 2001. Fermi and Bedford Township have systems of 200s while the rest of the county has Modulators and Whelen 3016s for voice. I do know there is an upgrade for the voice sirens coming soon, but do not have much more information than that. Sirens in Monroe County are tested the last Wednesday of every month at 10am.
