In this video lecture, we continue to demonstrate the simulation and computational power of Simulink. Specifically, we show how to solve equations where the calculation of the derivative is dependent on the state variable after integration. We also show how to use constants and intermediates in your calculations and how to create new outputs to a function to display and analyze additional information. We solve a gravity-drained tank model to demonstrate these capabilities of Simulink.
