Morecambe Rides Again! July 2025. Great event, as usual!

Morecambe, Lancashire.

Great turnout, as usual. Weather in Morecambe was warm and cloudy with odd patches of very light rain. Forecast afternoon heavier rain didn't happen!
The event attracted hundreds of scooterists from all over the country. A grand mass depart from the Alhambra/Fish Hook prom area, to Wray at 10:30am followed by a mass ride-in back from Wray to reach Morecambe seafront prom about 12:45pm. Park up was on the Stone Jetty behind the Midland Hotel which had Morecambe buzzing!

Morecambe Rides Again is a celebration of scootering history.
Morecambe has been home to this scooter rally since way back before the 1980’s and this rally was one of the biggest and most famous rallies in the country.

Many thanks to Mark Dugan and Lee Bradbury and friends for organising this splendid scooter event, once again.
And many thanks also to the sponsors, venues, volunteers, helpers and marshals that helped to make this wonderful event happen

At 2pm, Morecambe's Mayor gave out 7 trophies, outside the Stone Jetty Cafe, for the various classes of custom scooters, including Best Mod in memory of Sue Billcliff.

Mod bands were playing throughout the weekend at various venues throughout the town.

Morecambe Rides Again 2025 was held in memory Sue Billcliff (RIP) a Morecambe Rides Again stalwart.
After kicking it all off at The Exchange on Friday evening it was only fitting there was a Mods vs Punks night featuring two of Sue's favourite bands.

There were collection buckets on the night to help Sue's family raise money for her chosen charity - the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation...
