In a town full of scandal and heartbreak, Hollywood has rarely seen a more tragic love triangle than Jennifer Jones, David O. Selznick, and Robert Walker. Walker and Jones’ marriage could not withstand the all-powerful David O. Selznick. Once the producer set his sights on the “girl with the big eyes,” Jennifer would be consumed by Selznick and his unrelenting vision. Though she reached great heights as a star under Selznick’s thumb, she and her husband paid a terrible price. Robert Walker would never recover from his wife’s betrayal, and the fallout would haunt Jennifer for the rest of her life.
