Some pictures of the Fokker T-IV, a long range reconnaissance floatplane specifically designed for the former Dutch East Indies. First batch of 12 a/c numbered T-1 to T-12. An improves Fokker T=IVa was ordered in 1936. Twelve aircraft numbered T-13 toT-24. At the end of the video some pictures of the Breguet 1150 Atlantic. I flew on that type from 1969 - 1979. A stable platform, good crew comfort. Built in Toulouse(Fr). The Netherlands Fleet Air Arm lost 3 ouf of 9 a/c due to mishaps. Three crewmembers were drowned in the 1981 ditch in The North Atlantic. 1973 no.V-257 maintenance failure ditch in The North Sea, 1978 no.V-253 SB engine explosion, ditched West of Scotland and no.V-255 elevator steering broken, ditched West of Scotland.
