This exercise focuses on developing coordination, balance, agility and harmony of movements.
The tasks also emphasise developing basic passing and receiving skills.
Description and Graphics
These soccer drills for 6-8 year old players focus to help your sessions go more smoothly and give your young players the best chance of developing their skills at an appropriate level.
The players perform determined movements over the agility ladder and they pass the ball to each other in different ways.
In exercise 1 they play with two touches, in exercise 2 they play with one touch.
The tasks over the agility ladder and with the ball can be changed.
Coaching points
Take care of the correct performance
Balance and harmony of movements
Use arms to raise the frequency of foot (hand is faster than foot)
Quick feet to react to close passes
Use both feet to pass and receive the ball
Cooperation between the players
Mistakes and wrong performance correction is vital
Take care of resting periods
