My 1959 Evinrude 10 Hp Outboard has a misfire and its likely an ignition problem. This video will show you how to diagnose an outboard ignition misfire.
In this video I show you how to:
Remove the Flywheel - 1:37
Check the Ignition Coils - 5:07
Remove the Points and Condensers - 9:42
Reinstall the Points and Condensers - 17:20
Set the Ignition Point Gap to 0.020 inches (0.5mm) - 23:17
Reinstall the Flywheel - 28:30
Test run the motor - 30:00
