TATER: BIG PUPPY ENERGY, BIGGER NEED FOR MANNERS.

Meet Tater, a 7-month-old English Mastiff who came to us with a heart of gold—but no clue how huge he really is. At his size, even the smallest behavior issues were hard to ignore, so his family reached out for help with manners, obedience, and confidence.

Before training, Tater would drag his humans on walks, jump up for attention, and bark nervously at strangers. He had some stranger danger but would warm up once he realized you were a friend. His size made it tough to manage those “puppy moments.”

After training with Off Leash K9 Training Southwest Florida, Tater is learning to slow down and listen. He walks on leash with control, follows commands even with distractions, and is gaining confidence around new people.

Tater’s transformation proves that starting young—especially with large breeds—can make all the difference. Structure now means peace of mind later.
