There are three living spaces in the fabulous cottage -- a living area on the ground floor with wood burning stove, a seating area on the first floor and a sun room. The wonderful sun room has been designed to bring the outside in and is the perfect spot for relaxation. The beautifully crafted kitchen features an Aga range. On the first floor there is a spacious bedroom with king sized bed. An adjacent bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower. On the ground floor there is a toilet. Outside there are two separate patio style areas with paving and gravel. The tarmac driveway is accessed via an electric gate.

A short drive or a healthy 25 minute walk will bring you from the cottage into Dunfanaghy. This vibrant seaside village on the shores of Sheephaven Bay has a number of fine restaurants, coffee shops, friendly traditional pubs, craft shops and art galleries. It boasts a number of top class tourist attractions including the fabulous Blue Flag Killahoey Beach and an excellent 18 hole links golf course. There are also fine beaches at nearby Portnablagh, Marble Hill and Tramore.

There is plenty of opportunities for ramblers and hill walkers in this beautiful part of Donegal. In addition to the coastal walks around Horn Head there are woodland walks in the enchanting Ards Forest Park and hill walking in the North Donegal Highlands -- Muckish Mountain provides a very scenic background to Dunfanaghy. For those couples travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way route, the cottage is an ideal base for a few days stopover.
