Hotel BLEND ELPHISTONE RESORT - Marsa Alam, Egypt - September 2023

In September there are not many people, so there are free rooms, no queues for the restaurant and no fighting for sunbeds. The restaurant is large and clean. The food is great in my opinion! (I am a cook, haha). Various meats, salads, side dishes, pickles, sushi with fish pastes, in another part of the room pasta, roasted meats, Egyptian dishes made in front of the guests. Lots of beautiful desserts. Every evening they serve something from the grill, burgers, skewers, shrimps. Mohamed Ali Mohram in the restaurant served us fantastically. Outside the hotel there are several small shops with souvenirs and scented oils. There are two large, main pools and one small one for children. Clean. Behind the buildings there is a third pool, but only for adults, without music and children. Unfortunately, toplessness is also forbidden. If you smoke, have a supply of cigarettes. You can't buy them in the shops. The pool bar has vodka, gin, whiskey, but Egyptian. It tastes like diesel. All drinks in the dispensers, except water, are diluted. Wine is ok, and they can't cool bottled beer well, so it's usually around 15 degrees. The bar is open until 11 p.m. There are two bars on the beach, one serves only pizza, and the other only drinks from the dispenser and beer. The beach is large, not crowded. Unfortunately, in September at the best hours, around 1 p.m.-4 p.m., there is a big ebb and there is no chance for a normal swim. YOU MUST HAVE WATER SHOES!!! The jetty is about 500 m long. There are two places along the way where you can go down to the water and swim, but the water is shallow. At the end of the jetty there is a terrace and a descent to deep water and diving. There are also reefs there, so everyone can swim and watch. You can buy diving. Evenings at the pool bar, entertainment, karaoke, dancing rather for children. Sometimes there are dance performances in the amphitheater at a dramatically low level. Free WIFI in the lobby near the reception. If it weren't for the fact that we wanted to see another hotel, we would gladly return there, despite the nasty whisky.

We wrześniu nie ma wielu ludzi, więc są wolne pokoje, nie ma kolejek do restauracji i nie ma walki o leżaki. Restauracja jest duża i czysta. Jedzenie jest moim zdaniem świetne! (jestem kucharzem, haha). Różne mięsa, sałatki, dodatki, pikle, sushi z pastami rybnymi, w innej części sali makarony, pieczone mięsa, dania egipskie robione przy gościach. Dużo pięknych deserów. Co wieczór serwują coś z grilla, burgery, szaszłyki, krewetki.Mohamed Ali Mohram w restauracji obsłużył nas fantastycznie. Na zewnątrz hotelu znajduje się kilka małych sklepików z pamiątkami i olejkami zapachowymi. Są dwa duże, główne baseny i jeden mały dla dzieci. Czysty. Za budynkami jest trzeci basen, ale tylko dla dorosłych, bez muzyki i dzieci. Niestety, topless też jest zabronione. Jeśli palisz, miej zapas papierosów. Nie kupisz ich w sklepach. W barze przy basenie jest wódka, gin, whisky, ale egipska. Smakuje jak olej napędowy. Wszystkie napoje w dystrybutorach, poza wodą, są rozcieńczone. Wino jest ok, a piwa butelkowanego nie potrafią dobrze schłodzić, więc zwykle jest około 15 stopni. Bar jest czynny do 23:00. Na plaży są dwa bary, jeden serwuje tylko pizzę, a drugi tylko napoje z dystrybutora i piwo. Plaża jest duża, niezatłoczona. Niestety we wrześniu w najlepszych godzinach, czyli ok. 13:00-16:00, jest duży odpływ i nie ma szans na normalną kąpiel. MUSISZ MIEĆ BUTY DO WODY!!! Pomost ma około 500 m długości. Po drodze są dwa miejsca, gdzie można zejść do wody i popływać, ale woda jest płytka. Na końcu pomostu jest taras i zejście do głębokiej wody i nurkowania. Są tam też rafy, więc każdy może popływać i pooglądać. Można wykupić nurkowanie. Wieczory przy barze przy basenie, rozrywka, karaoke, tańce raczej dla dzieci. Czasami są występy taneczne w amfiteatrze na dramatycznie niskim poziomie. Darmowe WIFI w lobby obok recepcji. Gdyby nie fakt, że chcieliśmy zobaczyć inny hotel, chętnie byśmy tam wrócili, mimo paskudnej whisky.
