In Luke 16:19–31, Jesus tells of a rich man and a poor man named Lazarus whose situations are reversed after death—Lazarus is comforted while the rich man suffers. The parable shows that wealth cannot secure eternity, our destiny is final after this life, and God’s Word is enough to lead us to salvation. It calls us to trust Christ now, the One who rose from the dead.
