TRIP REPORT | EMIRATES A380 - A Fabulous Flight! | Dubai to Manchester - 12.06.2022

Flying from Dubai to Manchester (MAN) onboard one of Emirates’ many A380 aircraft… filmed on a warm summers day…

My first flight aboard the A380, my second with emirates, a great all round positive experience, excellent amenities including the wonderful “ICE” entertainment system, complimentary meals and refreshments, of which all were a high standard, some lovely views out of the window especially on departure out of DXB, and at cruising altitude. And the A380 as an aircraft is just wonderful, nice and quiet, and very spacious despite it being in a (normally cramped) 3-4-3 configuration. Crew were also very friendly. Overall a good flight with Emirates!

The landing into Manchester was also very special for me personally, since it’s my local airport, looking down on the roads below, the Airport Pub and the Runway Visitor Park where people stand and take pictures, landing into Manchester on the biggest passenger aircraft in-front of my fellow local spotters is something that I’ll never forget… the A380 always attracts visitors no matter where it goes, and Manchester is no exception, emirates fly 2x daily into Manchester and every flight draws somewhat of a crowd, just looking up in amazement at such a large aircraft, to be onboard one and land in-front of those spectators is very special and unique!
