My Painting Process Revealed + Tips for Building Your Own! MEMBERS ONLY EXCLUSIVE!

Materials list:
8x10 canvas board. Please use whatever surface you prefer. Choosing your surface is part of your personal process! My only suggestion is to keep it a little smaller than you would typically work. We're just learning here, not making a painting.)
Underpainting color: Cadmium Orange. Choose any color here! It doesn't matter if it's opaque or transparent, but keep it bright! If you're going to do blues like I did, choose a warm color for your underpainting. If you're going to use warm colors, choose a cool color for your underpainting. This about complementary colors on the color wheel and don't be afraid to go crazy! I almost went with fluorescent orange but I didn't want to make your head spin, lol.
Transparent colors for shadows: Phthalo Turquoise and Transparent Burnt Sienna (PR101). Use colors that support your final color (these make a beautiful jewel toned green/blue) but also provide a contrast to your underpainting (blue/green + orange makes chromatic black). If you're super unsure, you can use something like ultramarine blue and PR101 because they'll give you a very neutral color similar to Payne's Grey. Make sure, however, that both of the colors you choose are TRANSPARENT.
Opaque colors: I used Bright Aqua Green (Liquitex), which was way too transparent so I switched to Cobalt Teal (also Liquitex). Whichever color you prefer to use for the sky, make sure it's OPAQUE!
White or a white alternative: I used Titan Violet Pale, but Titanium White is just fine. It's just my preference to not use white if I can get away with it (that's part of my process!).
