SURFING OFF THE BEATEN PATH IN VANCOUVER ISLAND'S WILDERNESS - RAW POV

In this episode we venture off the beaten path on Vancouver Island in search of some waves in a very remote part of the coast. We are right on the cusp of glove season but this day was thankfully still warm enough to get by with just my 5/4 Oneill Hyperfreak Wetsuit and Boots as usual. After getting warmed up on a few waves I ended up getting smoked by a shoulder-hopper and got a few pretty bad dings in my board, but with conditions cleaning up and more sets on the horizon it was worth taking on some water to score a couple more turns and a super shallow barrel or two.
