15 Minute Bodyweight Workout with Kids | Halal Fitness Routine
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, selam aleykum, Hello all,
Welcome back to Rauf Muslim Fitness Routine! I invite you to join a 15-minute home workout, specially designed to be done before or after Salah or any other beneficial activity. This halal-friendly routine requires no music and is suitable for all fitness levels, allowing you to comfortably perform it at home.
During the workout, your kids may be playing around you – their joyful presence and laughter create a positive and motivating environment. This reminds us of the importance of setting a good example for our children in health and faith. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” (Sahih Muslim). By caring for our health, we show love and care for our family and children.
The workout is a combination of various exercises such as planks, push-ups, and squats, all designed to strengthen your core and improve overall fitness. These low-impact exercises are gentle on the joints and can be performed comfortably at home, with your little ones around.
Additionally, the Prophet (peace be upon him) reminded us: “There is no disease that Allah has created except that He also has created its treatment.” (Sahih Bukhari). This emphasizes the importance of staying active and seeking treatment when needed—an act of faith and trust in Allah’s wisdom.
Let us nurture our bodies as a form of gratitude and obedience to Allah, so we can continue to worship Him and take care of our families. Having our children around during this routine highlights the beauty of caring for both our physical health and our loved ones.
