The Corporate Treatment of LGBT Representation in Animation

Over the last 10 years, we've been given a plethora of LGBTQ representation in several animated programs that have helped push things forward. However, despite the companies in possession of these shows flaunting their acceptance of change, equality, so on so forth, many of their practices behind the scenes indicate the very opposite, resulting in representation for some shows being fairly limited or damaging, or outright cancelling anything that tries to break boundaries further than they're comfortable with.
