Join me for a short but scenic "virtual run" on Lake Mille Lacs in northern Minnesota! It was a moody morning on Labor Day weekend, which made for some serene beach views in what would otherwise have been a busy park.
Father Hennepin State Park is a 320-acre park that hugs the shoreline of Lake Mille Lacs near the town of Isle, Minnesota. It has some great, mostly-level trails that would be fun for even novice runners/hikers and also some paved, accessible trails.
Apologies in advance for anyone who really loves 17th-century missionary priests.
