🤯 AI Assisted Engineering is definitely not a "one-shot" app builder magic, nor the "for fun, buzzword thing". It's definitely changing how we build software.
I love how emotional this topic gets in the comments to Open Mercato posts. But we're serious about it, and it's serious engineering.
I've recorded a long video (48min) showing how we use an LLM to build a large-scale enterprise app (Open Mercato). The first part is a tutorial, so anyone with an engineering soul can start contributing to the project; in the middle part, I'm sharing some thoughts on what changed, what didn't, with all this AI Stuff vs. Software Engineering!
