This James Swearingen piece is our season opener and was the popular writer’s fist concert march. It was commissioned by the employees of the Stanton’s Sheet Music, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, for James E. Strauss, President and dedicated to the company on the occasion of its 125th Anniversary.
