The Beraphaunt: Toxodon of Kaimere

Toxodonts, called beraphaunt by the Assembly, are massive ungulates descended from animals in the same genus found in prehistoric South America. Though they were for a time among the most common ungulates, competition with Pleistocene harvests has reduced them to three species.

Songs of the Inland Sea is the sequel to Tales of Kaimere! It is a nautical anthology, with all six short stories and novellas taking place in aquatic settings. There are heists on a ship, a desperate chase through a marsh, and a survival story from the perspective of a killer whale!
