The sharks featured here are SILKY SHARKS (Carcharhinus falciformis) and are one of the most common PELAGIC SHARKS in the world. They can grow to around 8 FEET LONG and are very agile. Of course, they are not 100% harmless to humans, but there has NEVER BEEN a fatal incident involving these sharks and humans. These animals are BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and should be greatly RESPECTED.
