Expression Language | Transformer Engine Pipelines
Description: Learn how to use StreamSets Expression Language when building pipelines with the Transformer Engine. You can use our Expression Language to define any stage or pipeline property that represents a numeric or string value in Data Collector Pipelines. You can also use field path expressions to select the fields to use in some processors.

In Transformer Engine pipelines, not all Expression Language options are available in order to have better functionality and performance. Some of these functionalities are left to perform with Spark SQL.
