Welcome back to Danae’s Art Room! Today I’m diving into another Color Cube Series painting from Volume 1, Palette #15 — and this one is bright, bold, and full of pinks + blues!

In this video, I’ll be working with a vibrant palette inspired by a gorgeous blue sky and blooming pink flowers. You’ll see me experiment with:
Seaglass + Olive Green for earthy tones
Deep Water Blue for that stunning sky
Alizarin Crimson + Rose Pink (because you know I love to add pink!)

I’ll be creating playful arches and layered shapes on Strathmore mixed media paper, building up color with tempera paint sticks and underpainting techniques. You’ll also get behind-the-scenes tips on prepping your page with gesso, choosing palettes, and finding inspiration from past pieces.
