Both rods are the Shakespeare Ugly Stik gx2. These rods have treated me really good so far.
The 7-foot rod has been with me for almost 8 or 9 years now. The 6'6" rod I just got for Christmas and can't wait to catch a big one on there.
The smaller pole has an Ugly Stik reel for bearing system. Using 150yards of 20 lb braided line.
The bigger pole is using a Penn Fierce 5 4000 reel with between 30 and 50lb braided line.
Both poles are using 93 lb test wire leader with the hooks and swivels tied on using the haywire twist.
