RStudio for beginners: introduction and all basics in just 3 Minutes

RStudio is a user-friendly graphic interface and development environment for all your statistical analysis projects. This video gives a brief introduction of the layout (so called panes) and the essential options in only 3 minutes for using RStudio efficiently.

The layout of Rstudio consists of:
1) the console where all output for analytical tests is shown and input can also be given
2) the Files, Plots, Packages anad Help section where your working directory and files can be managed, your R plots be viewed, your packages (un-)installed and updated as well as the R documentation.
3) the environment section which shows all your data frames and objects you can address with your code.
4) the script section, where you can write, save and load your scripts

RStudio also allows a boatload of customization to your layout and appearance, meaning you can change the colors of your editor as well as the theme as you wish.

If you fancy using keyboard shortcuts, RStudio will provide with every possible shortcut. Also extremely helpful for me are the so called cheat sheets of packages that are from the makers of RStudio. Those cheat sheets are highly compressed, meaning they are thoroughly thought through and present beginners all sorts of arguments for functions of various packages like dplyr, ggplot2 and so forth.
