Shadow Play - Rory Gallagher (Clone Hero chart, Expert Guitar & Bass)

A straight up rocker with two solos and great chord based riffing by Rory Gallagher, one of many great songs featured in my 90+ song pack of Clone Hero charts: Classic Rock Summer 2K25. Classic Rock Summer 2K25 features a variety of hit singles, fan favourites and deep cuts from the 60s, 70s and 80s, each track containing an expert Guitar AND Bass chart with unpitched lyrics.
As well as providing plastic guitar fans with almost 100 brand new charts of old gems, I've also pledged that NONE OF THE SONGS IN THIS PACK will be recharts of my or any other charter's work and for every publicly available song with at least an existing guitar chart before this pack's unveiling, I will chart a replacement that has never been charted before and release it after the full pack is out.

How many times have I lamented the lack of Rory Gallagher customs in plastic guitar rhythm games? I mean, I've done three of his songs now (four if you include the Taste track released in this pack), are any others out there or is it solely down to me? Either way, this has to be one of my favourites of his. It was the first song of his I heard and I instantly fell in love with both the sound of the guitars and the awesome solos. Charting it was great too, very straightforward and the bass didn't cause me too many issues either, since it's relatively simple with a few little flourishes here and there. This song was another situation where I actually went back and redid the DIY outro, since the original one I had felt a bit forced. The one in this video is a huge improvement and looking at it now, I kind of wish I was a bit harsher with myself over the quality of certain DIY outros in this pack. Ah well, you live and you learn.
