From removing the mirror plates, removing the old worn gilding, removing over gessoing, making new decoration, gessoing, sanding, boling, water gilding, oil gilding to the end results. And what went wrong! Gliding water, 4 parts water, 1 part isopropanol alcohol, a pinch of 12-1 rabbit skin glue.
