RASA – Ramana Sunritya Aalaya was founded in 1989 by Dr. Ambika Kameshwar with the vision to empower one and all, through the Theatre Arts experience. Today, RASA stands as a 32 year old organisation with a multi-pronged approach to inclusion and transformation. Kalaimamani Dr. Ambika Kameshwar is a noted danseuse, vocalist, scholar and teacher of international acclaim who has travelled the world sharing her Art with all. She is a choreographer who has choreographed over 50 dance dramas and more than 10 complete Bharatanatyam Margams. Ambika Kameshwar uses dance and music to bring joy to the lives of differently-abled children. “Thank God for giving me the right direction early in life,” says Ambika Kameshwar, Bharatanatyam artiste, best known for her extraordinary work through theatre for holistic education for mentally-disadvantaged children. Hands-on experience over 25 years has enabled her to shape this unique programme and methodology.
