Arcade Game: Kung-Fu Master (1984 Irem)

A side-scrolling Beat 'em up arcade video game where you as the Hero name Thomas and your girlfriend have been attacked by unknown guys and Silva have kidnapped with a ransom note where she is being held at the Devil's Temple by someone with the name Mysterious X. You must use punches and kicks to attack and overwhelm a pack of enemies that trying to stop you from rescuing her. Fearsome bosses wait for Thomas at end of each floor and must be defeated before moving on to the next level.

Also known as Spartan X in Japan.

This is the world's first sideways-scrolling beat-em-up and the first released for the arcades which would later inspires games like Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, and Final Fight. This arcade video game has element's from Bruce Lee's 1978 Game of Death movie.

No Cheats used at all. Only savestates used.

Update: Re-uploaded and redone the entire game to fix sound issues that happen in the last previous video.

Played on MAME 0.162. Sound is slightly broken on latest versions of MAME on all games running on Irem's m62 hardware. Sadly, Kung-Fu Master was one of them. Better play this game on MAME v0.162 or older until the mamedevs fix this problem.

Note: This game restarts back to the beginning endless after you've beaten all five levels. So I only played as far as I can before I quit afterwards.
